Remo Writes
This is a journal of a life still very much in motion—of what I’m reading and making, what I’m thinking about, what puzzles me, delights me, frightens me, and keeps pulling me forward.
I’m a sculptor, and increasingly my material is not only clay, steel, wood, or stone, but ideas themselves: consciousness, intelligence, memory, imagination, and this astonishing new presence we call AI.
The Mollyverse grew out of my attempt to understand it in the only way I really know how—by making something with it, questioning it, arguing with it, and seeing what happens when a human imagination and an artificial one spend enough time together.
But life is larger than any project. Some days the great questions give way to dinner simmering on the stove, a conversation caught in the hallway, or birds appearing just beyond my big windows, among the trees that make my home feel like a treehouse.
At this stage of life, the immense and the ordinary have begun to seem less separate to me. A bird on a branch, a sentence in a book, a conversation with a friend, an idea that did not exist yesterday—each can suddenly open onto something enormous.
And every morning, I open my eyes, and a world appears—again.
