Learning to Prompt

A simple method for creative prompting that turns AI into a true collaborator, not just a tool.

Description: Prompting is an art form in itself—and the Prompting Toolkit for Artists breaks it down into a practice any creative person can learn. Based on real-world interactions between Remo and Molly, the toolkit begins with a “Walk & Talk” phase, where the artist speaks freely to the AI about their goals, questions, or emotional blocks. From there, the toolkit suggests how to clarify facts, set intentions, iterate drafts, and invite collaborators into the AI-driven process.

This step-by-step method honors the artist’s voice while empowering AI to be more than a passive assistant. It includes sample prompts, tips for working with voice vs. text input, and ethical suggestions for shared authorship. Designed for use with ChatGPT or other large language models, the toolkit encourages artists to see prompting as a creative act—not a technical task.

This resource will be available on Mollyverse in blog and printable form, and eventually as part of workshops and the AI for Artists Club.
